David received his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics and his Master of Science in Accountancy degrees from the University of Missouri. David joined the accounting firm of Arthur Young & Company, where he worked for over nine years of progressively responsible service in audit and tax departments. David subsequently joined the accounting firm of Deloitte, Haskins & Sells as the manager in charge of the tax department.
In July 1985, David started Cornerstone CPA Group, PA and has provided services to closely‐held businesses and their owners, not‐for‐profit entities, business executives, and to owners of properties, investment portfolios and other income producing activities. David is a licensed CPA in Kansas and Missouri and is a member of the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants, the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants. David is an accredited Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) awarded by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. David is also a Registered Investment Advisor Representative in the states of Kansas and Missouri. David is also the Principal of Cornerstone Wealth Advisors, LLC.

Michael P. Bunn

Michael received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Kansas. He joined the Cornerstone team in December of 2005. Michael provides service for clients of Cornerstone Wealth Advisors, including distributions, account administration, and portfolio balancing. Additionally, he serves as the IT Administrator for both Cornerstone Wealth Advisors and Cornerstone CPA Group.
Prior to Cornerstone, Michael was in Natchez, Mississippi where he managed Natchez Guest House Historic Inn and Garden Court Bistro. After moving back to Kansas, Michael worked as a designer and bookkeeper for Absolute Florist in Westwood Hills.
Michael is active in the local theater community and currently serves on the Board of Directors as Non-profit Coordinator of She & Her Productions, a local theater company.
